Michigan-made Shorts Showcase
Cinetopia champions Michigan filmmakers through its annual Michigan-made Shorts Showcase. This audience favorite highlights short films created across the state by both emerging and established artists.
The schedule for 2027 will be announced next year.

How do I experience the festival?
Cinetopia will be held in person at Michigan and State Theaters in downtown Ann Arbor in 2027 (details to come).

How do I get my tickets and passes and how much do they cost?
Festival Pass pickup will take place on the opening day of the festival. VIP Passes will be available for pickup for VIP Night.
Please purchase tickets on the ticket sales page before opening day.
Where can I find the schedule?
Individual films are listed on this page, as well as on our calendar page.
Are the films appropriate for all ages?
The films are not rated, and some material may be more appropriate for adult audiences unless otherwise noted. Our Films in Competition 9: Almost All Ages (6+) program is best suited for a wide variety of viewers.
