May the 4th be with you! Let's get together and talk about Star Wars and its impact on Science Fiction in Cinema.

The recent overwhelming reception of Project Hail Mary reminds us of many classic Science Fiction Favorites. There is the obvious love of the many Star Wars iterations but let's not forget about other iconic classics! The Fifth Element, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Interstellar, Star Trek, and so many more!

Come out and connect with your fellow film lovers!  Let's talk about the history of the best and worst science fiction classics. Science Fiction covers so much territory! From the iconic GODZILLA films to The Fly, and let's not forget the critically acclaimed original Planet of the Apes. Though we may want to forget some of it's re-makes. We will be gathering to discuss it all! Come as a Star Wars fan to connect with other fans or come as a Star Wars critic and engage in thoughtful debate with new friends!

Community Film Club is a ticketed event presented by Marquee Arts and Hear.Say Brewing co to re-introduce a regular open forum event to discuss films and topical movies. The staff of the Michigan Theater will regularly attend the film club meetings to connect with the community over our shared love of film! This will take place monthly on Mondays at Hear.Say brewing located at 2350 W liberty St, Ann Arbor, MI. Hear.say offers craft beer and food truck service as well as a dog friendly beer garden, bring your pup along!
