About This Showcase:

Surge (Chicago, IL) blends LA-style game-based improv with Chicago-style relationship work, creating monoscenes that find the absurdity inside real-life dramatic situations.

Yes Andersons Family Improv (Traverse City, MI) is a loud, high-energy, character-driven show about a struggling family improv group reuniting to get clean, reconnect, and put on the best show they can.

Big Fun Murder (Metro Detroit, MI) is a completely improvised murder mystery where a ghost, played in this performance by special guest Jordan Myrick, has one final chance to remember their last day, solve their own murder, and figure out who did it.

About the Festival:

The Yes, Ann Improv Festival features headlining performances from Anna Garcia & Friends, Holy Shit Improv, The Improvised Shakespeare Company, and Yes, Also All-Stars, alongside more than 50 improv teams from 12 states performing across four days of comedy in Ann Arbor.

With headliner shows, showcase performances, workshops, and special events at the Michigan Theater and hear.say brewing + theater, the festival is a chance to see a wide range of voices, styles, and performers from across the national improv community.
