About This Showcase:

Once Upon a Rhyme (Omaha, NE / Denver, CO) creates high-energy improvised rap songs set inside the worlds of audience members’ favorite stories.

A Touching Affair (Traverse City, MI) takes audiences on a ridiculous, dramatic, and heartfelt improvised mini-musical inspired by memories and nostalgia.

Improv Cabaret (Denver, CO) blends musical improv, dancing, rapping, and scene work into a lively cabaret-style show guided by a host.

Mic Drop (Ann Arbor, MI) turns the season finale of a singing competition show into a high-energy improvised musical extravaganza, complete with contestants, celebrity judges, and an audience vote.

About the Festival:

The Yes, Ann Improv Festival features headlining performances from Anna Garcia & Friends, Holy Shit Improv, The Improvised Shakespeare Company, and Yes, Also All-Stars, alongside more than 50 improv teams from 12 states performing across four days of comedy in Ann Arbor.

With headliner shows, showcase performances, workshops, and special events at the Michigan Theater and hear.say brewing + theater, the festival is a chance to see a wide range of voices, styles, and performers from across the national improv community.
