The Michigan Theaters Community Film Club is back again with Holiday Nostalgia

Holidays never feel quite the same as adults, do they? The magic of Christmas, Hannukah, Kwanza and all other winter holidays never really follows us through our lives. As we gain more responsibility, the joy of opening gifts and taking off school is replaced with buying gifts and using your treasured PTO. Let's take some time this December to connect and re-experience the magic of our favorite holiday classic films. What better way to celebrate the season than to come together with fellow movie lovers and talk about the films that made our Christmas breaks as little ones feel so cozy and magical.

Are you a fan of the classic Rankin Bass Christmas animations, or you prefer the more modern Polar Express CGI? What makes you laugh more, Home Alone, or ELF? Who's the truest Santa Clause? Tim Allen or Richard Attenborough? Let's get together and share in the joy of reminiscing on all of these Holiday Classics.

Community Film Club is a ticketed event presented by The Michigan Theater to encourage a regular open community discussion around film and topical movies. The staff of the Michigan Theater will regularly attend the film club meetings to connect with the community over our shared love of film! This will take place monthly on Sundays in the Michigan Theaters Screening Room. This event will offer 2 hours of mingling and connecting with your community, followed by a special screening of a film voted on by club patrons!

PLEASE NOTE: The film club meeting is free to attend, but the post meeting movie will still be a standard ticketed screening. Once you have cast your vote, keep an eye out for when the film club movie goes up and on sale 2 weeks prior to this club meeting!
