Let's examine this trend and discuss the vampire in cinema history. There have been so many vampire films over the years, ranging from all different genres. Horror, Romance, Comedy, and Action films have all had their vampire representation in the past; what are your favorites?
Come out and connect with your fellow film lovers! Let's talk about the history of the best and worst Vampire movies. What really made Sinners so memorable? What vampire movies can we compare it to, and what films can't hold up? Vampires have been a symbol that we've been sharing stories about since before the big screen. What do they represent to us as a culture? How has cinema affected the vampire's reputation? Join us and share your thoughts with your community!
Community Film Club is a ticketed event presented by Marquee Arts and Hear.Say Brewing co to re-introduce a regular open forum event to discuss films and topical movies. The staff of the Michigan Theater will regularly attend the film club meetings to connect with the community over our shared love of film! This will take place monthly on Mondays at Hear.Say brewing located at 2350 W liberty St, Ann Arbor, MI. Hear.say offers craft beer and food truck service as well as a dog friendly beer garden, bring your pup along!
